This qualification, as provided by Volt Edge, provides competencies to conduct Gas Supply Industry activities including installation, maintenance, fault find and repair, operations of distribution and transmission gas pipelines, cylinders and associated equipment.
It is an Australia Qualification Framework (AQF) level 3 qualification and provides the required knowledge and skills to carry out work activities autonomously and takes responsibility for their own work.
The theory of this course is delivered online followed by an on the job face-to-face practical.
Theory is completed online and self-paced.

Upon completion you will be able to:

→ Maintain single stage and single run gas flow and pressure control and measuring devices.
→ Maintain multi-stage and multi-run gas flow and pressure measuring and regulating devices.
→ Perform routine maintenance on distribution pipeline facilities and equipment.
→ Prepare simple drawings of as laid gas mains and services.
