Course Description

The Cert IV GAP Training course is designed for the Gap between EEHA and UEE42611 Certificate IV in Hazardous areas – Electrical. The units are not about Hazardous Areas but are designed to take you from a Cert III tradesmen to a Cert IV Supervisor.

Outcomes

Upon successful completion, you will be able to:
Complete the last of the units of competency leading up to receiving your Certificate IV in Hazardous Area – Electrical.
Implement and monitor the procedures for identifying hazards, assessing risk and controlling risks.
Develop an energy sector report.
Follow a personal competency development plan.
Carry out the implementation and monitoring of environmentally sustainable work management policies and procedures.

This course is only for students who have successfully completed an EEHA course previously and hold a Statement of Attainment (which has been obtained in the last 2 years) and hold a current Unrestricted Electrical Licence.

Students must meet the minimum point requirements for electives to complete the upgrade. If you do not hold enough points then you may be required to undertake a refresher EEHA to complete the upgrade.

*Note students who have completed EEHA more then 2 years ago can upgrade however, it will be noted that the electives were not refreshed at time of issue.
