The UEE31211 Certificate III in Instrumentation and Control is a trade qualified instrumentation tradesmen and can be done as a stand-alone trade or completed by Electricians to give them the Instrumentation Trade Certificate.
Approximately 120 Hrs of online self-paced learning and up to three weeks of face to face practicals.
NOTE: This will vary with experience and capabilities of different students.
This course consists of two stages;
The first stage is completed externally through an online learning system which is completely flexible and self-paced and equates to approximately 120 hrs of online learning.
The second stage of the assessment is a multi week intensive practical assessment which can be done on a flexible training timetable, where the approx. 20 separate practicals (depending upon Electives Chosen) are completed as follows
Practical training for students includes a final capstone assessment. Students have 2 attempts at the practical capstone assessment, further attempts are charged at $500.00 per day/attempt.

Training is completed face to face.

The unit of competencies are assuming you are already an Electrician, where you would receive a credit transfer for any Electrical units required by this qualification.
(Currently we do not offer the Electrical units required by this qualification – Students are required to be Unrestricted Electricians.)
$ 3,000 to $ 6,500 (GST Free) depending on current competencies gained.
