High Voltage Coordination is designed for a HV Supervisor or some-one that has at least done some HV Supervision in the past, or wants to become a HV supervisor in the future. This course discusses Coordination of crews of HV operators and studies the interaction that may occur between 1 or more HV crews.
The practical plans an approximate 2 days switching program of 4 individual exercises and ensure that tasks are resources , planned and coordinated using modern planning techniques, so that the separate exercise do not interfere or endanger the other member. The practical also uses Access and Test permits where appropriate and concentrates on the coordinators roll in these exercises.
This is a 2 day online self-paced course featuring a desktop audit. It is offered all year round, monitored and marked by dedicated trainers.
Students will complete a theory exam as well as an online practical.
Upon successful completion, students will have the skills to:

→ Analyse and respond to local network/system faults or incidents.
→ Review incident response and preventative procedures.
→ Coordinate and direct switching programs.
→ Maintain dynamic integrity of system.
→ Carry out the co-ordination of permit procedures.
Compile and produce appropriate documentation of work operations.
Pair workplace protocols and creative initiative to methodically design and produce various projects.
Apply communication and leadership skills to a team environment and work place operations.
