This unit covers safety testing of electrical cord connected equipment and cord assemblies. It encompasses working safely by using portable apparatus tester, identifying faults, applying tagging, arranging for repair of faulty equipment and complete testing of relevant documents.
We train you on all of the most popular Portable Appliance testers such as:
→ WavecomTnT series
→ U-Test 376t, Metrel MI 3309
→ Seaward PAC3760 DL or you can also bring your own Tester along to the course for training.
Delivered by online and face to face practicals, our training will give you two Nationally Accredited units of competency as a skillset
Upon successful completion, students will have the skills to:
→ Inspect and test of electrical cord assemblies and cord connected equipment.
→ Use multiple electrical and PAT testers on multiple types of equipment Class I Class II, and the ability to identify these pieces of equipment.
Accurately follow the workplace protocol of complex processes.
Determine likelihoods and consequences to implement appropriate procedures.
